Collection: Sparkes Design

Led by owner and designer Kim Paddon, Sparkes Design creates distinct, timeless, and hand-fashioned jewelry using semi-precious and exotic stones. Kim was born in Newfoundland and has always been an artist at heart. Trained as a designer, Kim was 22 when she opened Whink, a specialty boutique jewelry store, in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Her passion for sourcing specialty-designed jewelry and high-quality gemstones later inspired her to start Sparkes Design.

Sparkes Design offers collections of one-of-a-kind jewelry with gemstones that are carefully set in sterling silver by their amazing team of ninth-generation artisans. Kim travels around the world to source the gemstones and then designs the pieces to bring out the rugged and natural beauty of the stones.
