Martha Millard’s first taste of pottery was as an escape, a way to get out of the house and have some time to herself. As her children grew up and moved out, Martha found herself becoming eager to get back to pottery and MJM Pottery was created. Martha’s pottery is constantly changing and evolving, and although most pieces are functional, some are purely whimsical. Each piece made by hand, so each is unique and no two are identical. Martha’s pieces are designed to be enjoyed and used daily. Martha lives in Rothesay and works out of her small, back-yard studio.
