Kate Mitchell is the designer and owner of the handmade greeting card company Cards by Kate, located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Kate has always loved art, design, and especially paper and textile arts. Kate uses traditional Japanese paper to create simple contemporary designs, which are sold as one-of-a-kind original pieces or are reproduced and printed on cards and tea towels.
