Even on Montmartre, or at the top of the Eiffel Tower, home can be a lonely place... Maya, a little girl who lives with her mom in Saint John (New Brunswick's big port city), will have to leave Mitaine,(her elderly cat), for a wonderful trip to the City of Light! Many discoveries await her: tourist attractions, of course; the world of fashion; but also the expression of new feelings, such as nostalgia, the acceptance of departures and separations.
Back in Saint-Jean, daily life will never be the same for Maya and her mom. But in the great merry-go-round of life, which has turned one last time for Mitaine, Maya meets a new friend...
